Getting help from a person

One address, one person who reads it, and what is useful to put in the message.

Email vinay@wingmannico.com. One person reads that address, and he replies.

Replying to your licence key email works just as well — it comes back to the same place and arrives with your purchase already attached, which is usually faster for both of us.

What is useful to include

  • What you expected, and what happened instead.

  • What the Status screen says about your subscription, in words.

  • Roughly when it started.

  • The email address you paid with, if it is about a payment.

You do not need to include anything else. Please do not send us your licence key, or a screenshot of it, unless we ask for it.

Reporting a bug, or asking for a feature

Same address, and you do not need to write it up formally. What you expected, what happened, and roughly when is plenty. A screenshot helps when it is something on screen.

The licence key email never arrived

It is sent from notifications.wingmannico.com, so search your junk folder for that — it is the one detail that usually turns "it never arrived" into a solved problem without anybody writing to anybody.

If it is genuinely not there, write to the address above from, or naming, the email you paid with.

What we will never ask you for

We will never ask for a password — there isn't one, and Nico has no account to have one for. We will never ask for your card number, and we will never ask for remote access to your Mac. If a message claiming to be from us asks for any of those, it is not from us.

What a reply looks like

This is one person and not a queue, so a reply is an answer rather than a ticket number. If a fix needs a change to the app, we will say so and say when.
