Cancelling, and refunds

Refunds are 14 days, no questions asked. Email vinay@wingmannico.com within 14 days of a payment and we refund that payment in full and cancel the subscription. You do not have to give a reason, we will not ask you for one, and we will not ask you to prove anything. It is not at our discretion and there is nothing to qualify for.

Cancelling without a refund

Use the link in your receipt, or email the same address. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then does not renew — cancelling on the 10th when you have paid through the 30th means you keep working until the 30th. The Status screen says Ending while that is true, so you can see we have noticed.

We are not going to restate the terms here, because a help article and a legal page that drift apart are worse than one page on its own. The full terms — including who takes the payment, who handles a card dispute, how long billing records are kept, and your rights as a UK or EU consumer — are in the Refunds & cancellation section of the legal page:

A refund does not reach onto your Mac

Your apps, their data folders and everything you have transcribed are ordinary folders. They stay where they are and they stay yours. What ends is new recording in Nico.

And because your first licence is deliberately short — see How your licence works — it runs out shortly after a refund rather than at the end of a month you no longer paid for. That is the only reason the first licence is short, and it is the one place the design is arranged around the refund rather than around us.

A charge you do not recognise

Write to vinay@wingmannico.com with the email address you paid with. If the charge needs to be handled by whoever took the payment rather than by us, we will tell you exactly who and how rather than leaving you to work it out.
